Eleven neglected properties along William Street underwent a process of revitalisation with considered demolition, reconstruction and adaptation. A much neglected part of William Street’s public domain was reinvigorated and an important part of the state’s heritage was conserved.

The renewed physical fabric increases the commercial viability of William Street, extending and enhancing the dynamic mixed use character of the Northbridge precinct.

William Street was awarded a Commendation at the 2011 Architecture Awards.
