Brandon Pratley

Director

Brandon Pratley shares design responsibility for Griffiths Architects projects as practice Director.

After joining Considine and Griffiths Architects in 1999, Brandon became a Director at Griffiths Architects in 2008 overseeing a broad range of projects including alterations, additions and conservation works to the Government House Ballroom and Supper Room, the Old Treasury Buildings, Gledden Building, residential adaptations to Steve’s Hotel in Nedlands and refurbishments to the Perth Office of the Premier and Cabinet to name a few.

Brandon managed the conservation of the State Registered Dumas House, which has been a major commitment of the practice and brought to light the issues peculiar to conserving late twentieth century buildings.

Recent heritage work includes significant upgrades to Government House and His Majesty’s Theatre through several stages of conservation and upgrading, including the reinstatement of balconies to the Hay and King street frontages.

Brandon has won awards in Urban Revitalisation from the AIA for the refurbishment and upgrade of the William Street Renewal Project and a citation from UNESCO in 2012.
